Kidz Zone Classes run June 1-August 22 unless otherwise noted. Sign up the day of class in the Kidz Zone. Parents MUST remain on premises at all times when their children are in classes or the Kidz Zone. Class time counts toward the maximum Kidz Zone time allowed of 2 hours and 15 minutes per day. For their safety, children must wear sneakers and socks in class.
Class Descriptions
Animal of the Day - Crafts, stories and games featuring an animal of the day!
Discovery Kids - Children create art reflecting each of the four seasons.
Moon Bounce - Jump, shout & laugh in our inflatable play structure! Socks required.
Kidz Craft - Children create a fun and simple craft to take home!
Kidz Dance - The focus is on fun as children develop coordination and explore the world of dance.
Kidz Games - Children play a variety of board games and physically interactive games.
Kidz Music - Children learn and have fun through the magic of music.
Kidz Snack - Children have a blast in our no-bake "cooking" class!
Kidz Play in the KZ Gym - Children run, play, and bounce balls in the Kidz Zone Gym
Kidz Watercolors - Children explore the fun and beauty of watercolor painting.
Picasso's Pallet - Children study and try the techniques of different artists around the world each week.
Preschool Letters - Each week children learn about a new letter in a fun and interactive way.
Preschool Numbers - Children learn and use a new number each week.
Read to me Story Time - Children enjoy story time using felt boards, props, and more!
Rising Starz - Children perform skits and express creativity through acting.
The Next Einstein - Children learn basic, easy to do science experiments.
Note: Per Kidz Zone Policy, when Albemarle County Public Schools are closed, Kidz Zone Programs will not be held.
