Group Lessons

Swim lessons at ACAC are available to members AND non-members.

Ages 6 months to Adult

You and your child gain confidence and learn swimming skills in a safe environment with a qualified instructor. Eliminate fears, learn skills, and improve strokes. Children are grouped by age and skill level. Dolphin babies and Mini Dolphins include four 30 minute classes; Dolphins, Mighty Dolphins, Teen, and Adult include four 45 minute classes. If your child is 5 years old, please choose the more appropriate class for your child, 30 minutes or 45 minutes. Classes are held rain or shine. We recommend signing your child up for a minimum of 3 sessions, picking the weeks that work best for your schedule.

Swimming Levels
Level 1 - Cannot swim at all. Will not get face wet. Fear of the water.
Level 2 - Cannot swim, but loves the water.
Level 3 - Can swim on the surface or underwater. Ready to begin learning strokes.
Level 4 - Can swim 10 yards on front and back. Learning stroke basics.
Level 5 - Ready to learn stroke technique.
Level 6 - Ready to learn advanced swimming skills, including butterfly, turns, and endurance swimming.

New Special Groups

Now offering special group lessons! These lessons may be scheduled at a time convenient for you, and must have a minimum of three participants of same or similar levels. Sessions available in four 30min or four 45min blocks.
