Racquetball and Squash

Hours of Operation:
Courts are available for play during club operational hours. We encourage members to reserve their court times in advance. If courts are not reserved, they are open to any member. However members with reservations have priority.

Reservations:
Members may reserve courts, free of charge, three days in advance by calling ACAC Downtown (434.984.3800) or in person at the ACAC Downtown Member Services desk. Reservations are available on the hour starting at 6:00am Monday through Friday, 8:00am on Saturday and 10:00am on Sundays. The last court reservation is one hour prior to club closing. Members wishing to reserve a court should have charge to account. Players are asked to check in at Member Services upon arrival to confirm a reservation.

Cancellation Policy:
A 10 minute grace period will be honored before a player is considered a 'no-show' and a waiting player may use the court.  A $10 no-show fee will be charged to the account of the player who made the initial reservation if a court has not been cancelled prior to a scheduled court time.  Members wishing to cancel a reservation may do so in person at the ACAC Downtown Member Services desk, or by calling (434) 984-3800.

Equipment:
Appropriate dress apparel is required. All members and guests MUST wear USRA-approved eyewear and non-scuff shoes on court at all times. Racquets, balls and eyewear can be rented at the Downtown Member Services desk, or purchased at the Downtown Logo Shop.

Age Restrictions and Family Time:
Young adults, age 13 and over may use the courts at any time, but are advised to familiarize themselves with basic rules of play, and policies for proper apparel, equipment, and court etiquette. Children age 12 may use a court at any time if playing with an adult. Children age 6-12 are permitted on courts during Family Time only and must play with an adult.  Family Time is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

Guests:
Guests accompanied by a member are welcome to play. We ask guests to process their guest fee at the ACAC Member Services desk.
